REGULAR CLASSES

& WORKSHOPS FOR 2010/11

YOGA ~ Through Yoga your body will gradually achieve greater endurance, your spine will become more flexible, your body will come to its natural weight and rid itself of toxins, you will breathe more easily, you will gain energy, your circulation will improve, your blood pressure will normalize, you will have an easier time coping with stress, and you will have more pleasant thoughts and fewer negative emotions.

All Classes cost £65 per 10 week course unless stated otherwise. Concessions for over 65yrs and students at £60. Should you wish to book any class at concession rate pay via this pay here button.

N.B. CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCE AFTER BOOKING/PAYMENT OR AFTER CLASSES HAVE BEGUN WILL GET 25% REFUND ONLY (OF REMAINING SESSIONS)

Ashtanga Yoga - A powerful yoga sequence of postures and deep breathing technique - Sun salutations, Standing Postures, Sitting Postures, Finishing Postures and Relaxation.

Begins Sept 28th 2010 ~ please book early as places go quickly.

USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLASS

  • Do not practice on a full stomach; wait at least 1½ - 2 hours after eating.
  • Wear loose comfortable clothing, tracksuit, t-shirt etc, generally yoga practice is done barefoot.
  • If you have a mat please bring it along as I only have a limited number for students to borrow.
  • Please bring a blanket or warm clothing for meditation and relaxation, as the body temperature does drop after the warming postures we practice in class.
  • Classes are for beginners to advanced ~ modifications in postures are shown for all abilities.
  • Please advise the teacher of any medical conditions, pregnancies etc before commencing the class.
  • Bring A SMILE! Yoga is supposed to be fun!
